1. Agreement Between Parties:

The terms and conditions outlined herein establish the agreement between you and Burgess Hill Airport Taxi Cab. Your booking of a taxi and use of our services signifies your unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions as presented in this agreement.

2. Definitions

Burgess Hill Airport Taxi Cab, referred to as “we” or “us,” denotes the service-providing company. The terms “you” and “your” may pertain to any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.

3. Booking

3.1 It is imperative that you allocate sufficient time for your journey to ensure timely arrival, especially for airport transfers with specific check-in requirements. Burgess Hill Airport Taxi Cab will not assume responsibility for delays resulting from inadequate time allocation or unpreparedness at the designated collection time.

3.2 Ordering a vehicle of appropriate size for passengers and luggage is your responsibility. Burgess Hill Airport Taxi Cab does not guarantee the transportation of excessive luggage. Please note that, regardless of age, a child is considered a single passenger.

3.3 Requests for wheelchair access should be made at the time of booking.

4. Prices & Payment

4.1 Our quotations are based on information provided by you. Unless stated otherwise, all prices exclude VAT, and applicable VAT will be charged additionally. We reserve the right to modify the provided quote in case of substantial changes to the stated itinerary.

4.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the landing time and covers airport parking costs. Additional waiting time will be subject to the standard waiting rate of Burgess Hill Airport Taxi Cab. While we aim to adjust our service for flight delays, we are not obligated to do so.

4.3 Upon accepting our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review and ensure its accuracy. Failure to notify Burgess Hill Airport Taxi Cab of any inaccuracies absolves us of responsibility for resulting delays or costs.

4.4 Payment for our services can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card.

5. The Service

5.1 You are accountable for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. Charges may be applied for cleaning costs if the vehicle is soiled, damaged, or negatively affected by a passenger.

5.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is not permitted in the vehicle.

5.3 Children must be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.

5.4 The number of passengers carried must adhere to licensing or insurance regulations.

6. Cancellations

6.1 Timely communication is crucial if you need to cancel a booking. Cancellation after dispatch may incur charges based on the distance covered by the driver.

6.2 If you cancel before vehicle dispatch for bookings made through our online system, charges may apply to the original payment.

7. Liability

7.1 While Burgess Hill Airport Taxi Cab endeavors to ensure punctual arrivals, we are not liable for losses due to delays beyond our control. We bear no responsibility for losses incurred by you or your business under any circumstances.

7.2 Your luggage is transported at your own risk.

7.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will strive to provide an alternative vehicle to expedite your journey.

7.4 You will not hold Burgess Hill Airport Taxi Cab liable for expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from any omission or act by anyone in your party.

7.5 No party involved can exclude or limit liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful default, or matters deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.

8. Termination

8.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if a vehicle or driver is put at risk by abuse, violence, or damage from you or any passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.

9. Miscellaneous

9.1 Burgess Hill Airport Taxi Cab may subcontract obligations stated in this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer any obligations or rights under this agreement.

9.2 Burgess Hill Airport Taxi Cab can alter terms and conditions by updating this page. Regularly review these terms to stay informed of changes. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates in effect when the booking is made.

9.3 We handle information by the Data Protection Act of 1988.

9.4 This agreement constitutes the complete understanding between Burgess Hill Airport Taxi Cab and yourself.

9.5 These terms and conditions do not confer any advantage or benefit to a third party. No third party has the right to enforce rights under this agreement without a written agreement in place.

10. Disputes

Any dispute or claim must be made within 30 days of the booking pickup date. Burgess Hill Airport Taxi Cab is not obliged to consider claims or disputes made after this timeframe.
